Create a Bootable Floppy disk.

Copy the contents of this zip file to the diskette.
The easiest way to do that, is to log into the bootable floppy disk, and at the A:\> prompt do this command line:
A:\> C:\...path...\builder.exe [enter]

Label the disk. I suggest: Overbyte Emergency Boot Disk and System Essentials
Test it:
Reboot your system with the Overbyte Emergency Boot Disk and System Essentials diskette in the floppy disk drive.
Go with the option that lets you read your CD drive(s). When the system has booted, it will tell you the drive designations
it has assigned to the CD drive(s). Test to see if you can read the CD drive(s) with A:\> DIR D:[enter]
If your system reboots to Windows with the Overbyte Emergency Boot Disk and System Essentials in the floppy drive,
you must go into system setup and configure it so that the system tries to boot from a floppy disk before booting
off the hard disk. This is not a step for rookies, so if you are not comfortable with this step, ask someone who
knows what to do to help you.
Note for WindowsME Users with WinMe you don't get access to the MS-DOS prompt for those
real emergencies. If you have WinMe and want to setup the Overbyte
Emergency / Essentials disk, you will need to have access to
a working Windows98se or WindowsXP system to format a bootable Windows diskette. Once you have
a bootable diskette, you can follow the instructions for Windows98 above.
