The re-design of the old site was under $5,000. We next captured and converted data from a proprietary web-only database platform, and put it into an open-source database. The resulting databases was presented in minimal form for the general public and extended form for premium-service subscribers. This part of the project was under $10,000. The client, who had been paying $28,000 per year for hosting and update work, now does updates in-house and owns his server. His savings were over $32,000 the first two years.
