Wigged Out
Customs inspectors in Vienna, Austria, thought the carefully piled-up hair of a woman arriving from Amsterdam, Holland, looked suspicious, but she refused to submit to a search because she had “spent just too much time and money” making it look nice. But the Austrian officials insisted, and found her head was shaved; the hair was a hollowed-out wig containing half a kilogram of heroin. Meanwhile, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, spiritual leader of Israel’s Shas political party, said that women who wear wigs will be damned. “If the woman wishes for righteous children, let her remove the wig, if not she shall have impertinent children,” he warned.
