Bad Pic of Scott Rainey
So......
What's Up With The Bad Pix?
"You don't really think you're photogenic, do you Scott?"

Nope. I don't think I'm at all photogenic.

In fact, I'm a little envious of people who are.

The reason my homely face is on so many of these pages is to make a couple of points about marketing. Whether it's a dead tree publication or on the web, us human beings are hard wired to look for human faces.

Flip the pages of a newspaper, and notice where your own eye is drawn. Mostly it will be to pictures of people's faces.

Simple advice: an ad on the net or on paper, should use a face, preferably one of your own. People will look, even if your face is as weak as mine. They'll also be more inclined to business with you if there's a face in your advertisements.

Now, if I could only find a very skilled photographer....

All the best,

Scott Rainey
